“Welcome to Sales After Dark… Because money never sleeps.”
For quite some time now I have wanted to start writing Business/Sales/Marketing book reviews, and the first book review I planned to write for you was on Larry Levine’s most excellent work Selling from the Heart. However, a few months ago, I ran across Victor Antonio’s “Sales After Dark” Livestream, and I have been absolutely hooked ever since! I first heard about Victor Antonio from a LinkedIn post that one of my connections shared because in that particular episode of “Sales After Dark,” Victor had given a nice review of Mark Hunter’s new book A Mind for Sales. I am so glad I clicked on that video because I have learned so much from Victor ever since. Unfortunately, I usually only get to watch/listen after the fact, but I never miss an episode.
Victor Antonio is a high demand sales and motivational speaker who has headlined conferences all around the world. Like many of us though, when the Covid shutdown hit, his business model was basically shutdown too. “Sales After Dark” is the way that he pivoted to take this new business reality head-on. Victor’s insights are every bit as applicable to the sales newbie as they are to the seasoned sales professional or business owner. He brings an entertaining edge and premium production quality to “Sales After Dark” like nothing else I have seen. He will keep you engaged and entertained the entire episode with his clever quips like: “Selling ain’t hard when you know how.” “Helping you find the *Why* in how people buy.” “You need to find what your “Thang” is and do that” And, “So, what does this have to do with Sales? It has everything to do with sales.”
Victor Antonio is the king of content as he delivers the freshest and most insightful sales and marketing ideas and analysis available today. He doesn’t have to give as much as he does for free during “Sales After Dark,” because he has much of the same content on his Sales Velocity Academy, but he cares more that he is helping fellow sales professionals out than he does his own pocketbook. And yet, delivering such dynamic content has driven his own revenue back up tremendously, as his personal coaching, SVA, and Corporate online speaking gigs are all increasing.
The most unique part about “Sales After Dark” is the sense of “family” that Victor fosters. In fact, he refers to his viewers as his “Tribe.” He spends the first five minutes of every show welcoming his tribe and directly interacts with them, which I find so enjoyable. Then as he is delivering his inspiring and informative content, he continues to interact with the live audience (on YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.). And finally, after he finishes the main sales education, he spends the rest of the show, up to 30 minutes in some cases interacting with the questions and comments of his viewers, either based on the teaching content or on other related questions they have about sales or their own business situations. Those in attendance truly feel like Victor cares for them, so they come back again and again.
One of the topics that excites Victor the most is the intertwining of Artificial Intelligence and Sales, so much so that his most recent book is titled Sales Ex Machina: How Artificial Intelligence is Changing the World of Selling. Appropriately then, Tuesdays has become Tech Tuesdays as he guides his audience through all the latest AI and Business/Sales Technology, programs, and apps that can help you get ahead of the rest of your peers and competitors. You can watch any of the 100 episodes (so far) on Victor’s YouTube channel, or catch him live on “Sales After Dark” on YouTube, Facebook Live, or LinkedIn Live every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday night at 8:00 CST. Don’t… Miss… Out…
